1. Who We Are

Plotix is a mobile vertical microdrama streaming platform operated by AVK MEDIA – FZCO, a company incorporated under UAE law, with registered address at Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Plotix mobile application (iOS and Android), our website at plotixapp.com, and all related services. References to "Plotix," "we," "us," or "our" mean AVK MEDIA – FZCO.

By downloading, accessing, or using Plotix you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera. We do not collect sensitive data such as health information, financial account numbers, or government identifiers.


3. How We Use Your Data

  • Deliver the service — stream episodes, track your Plots balance, unlock content, sync watch progress across devices.

  • Analytics & improvement — understand which content performs, where users drop off, and how to improve retention and UI.

  • Personalization — recommend series based on what you have watched. You can disable this in app settings.

  • Advertising — measure and optimize Meta ad campaigns. Requires your consent under Apple's ATT framework.

  • Safety & fraud — detect abuse, prevent unauthorized access, and protect payment integrity.

  • Legal compliance — meet obligations under applicable law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms.


4. Third-Party Services

We use a focused set of third-party tools. Each receives only the data it needs to do its job and is required to protect that data at least as well as we do.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your data with data brokers.

In accordance with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, we clearly disclose all third-party data recipients, including advertising partners, and obtain explicit permission before sharing personal data with them.


5. In-App Purchases & Plots

Plotix uses an in-app currency called Plots to unlock episode content. Plots are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All payment processing is handled by Apple or Google; we do not receive or store your card number or financial account details.

Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat.

Apple Subscription Notice Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period at the selected plan price. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings under your Apple ID. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

7. International Transfers

AVK MEDIA – FZCO is based in the UAE. Our third-party providers operate servers in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal data outside your home country, we use appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission where required under GDPR, or equivalent mechanisms recognized under applicable law.

By using Plotix you acknowledge that your data may be processed in countries with different privacy laws than your own. We take steps to ensure equivalent protections apply regardless of where data is processed.


8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated personal data. You can initiate deletion directly from within the Plotix app under Settings > Account > Delete Account, or by emailing us.

  • Portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.

  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including for direct marketing.

  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g., advertising tracking via ATT), withdraw at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

  • Automated decisions — request human review of any decision made solely by automated means that significantly affects you.

To exercise any right, email us at business@plotixapp.com. We will respond within 30 days (or as required by applicable law). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Account Deletion (Apple Requirement) If you created an account in Plotix, you can delete it — and all associated personal data — directly from within the app. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Active subscriptions should be cancelled before deletion; we will guide you through this step in-app.


9. Children's Privacy

Plotix is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us at business@plotixapp.com and we will delete that information promptly.

Plotix content contains mature romantic and dramatic themes. The app is rated for users aged 17 and older on the Apple App Store.


10. iOS & Apple App Store

The following disclosures apply specifically to the iOS version of Plotix in compliance with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines and App Privacy Details framework.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT) On iOS, Plotix will ask for your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. If you decline, you will still receive ads, but they will not be personalized based on cross-app tracking.

Data linked to you — contact info (email), identifiers (user ID), purchases, and usage data.

Data used to track you — with ATT consent: advertising identifiers (IDFA) shared with Meta for ad campaign measurement.

Data not linked to your identity — crash logs and diagnostic data collected for app stability.

Privacy Manifest Plotix includes a Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) that declares all required API usage reasons and data types collected by the app and its third-party SDKs, as required by Apple since Spring 2024.

Third-Party AI If Plotix uses any third-party AI service that processes your personal data, this is disclosed explicitly in this policy and requires your consent before data sharing occurs, per Apple's 2025 guidelines.


11. GDPR — European Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent law applies to how we process your personal data.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data lawfully. For EU users, this may be the supervisory authority in your Member State. For UK users, it is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).


12. CCPA — California Users

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you additional rights.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent (obtained via the ATT prompt on iOS).

In the previous 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers, commercial information (purchase records), internet or other electronic network activity (usage data), and inferences drawn from the above (content preferences).

To exercise your California rights — including the right to know, right to delete, right to correct, and right to opt out of sharing — contact us at business@plotixapp.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.


13. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, access controls limiting who within our team can access user data, regular review of third-party security practices, and prompt incident response procedures.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.


14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes — such as new data categories, new third-party recipients, or changed legal bases — we will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Continued use of Plotix after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
